Dr. Di Bisceglie joined the faculty of Saint Louis University Health Sciences Center in May 1994. He is the former Chief of the Liver Diseases Section at the National Institutes of Health where he supervised that group's research in viral hepatitis.

His interests are in the treatment of chronic viral hepatitis and the link between viral hepatitis and the development of hepatocellular carcinoma. Dr. Di Bisceglie has a wealth of clinical knowledge about all aspects of hepatology.
