Dr. Agarwal joined the faculty at Director of Therapeutic Endoscopy in March 2002. He has clinical and research interests in gastrointestinal malignancies. Dr Agarwal has done research in the colon cancer carcinogenesis and its chemoprevention. His clinical research interests include the use of endoscopic ultrasound in management of esophageal and pancreatic cancers. Dr Agarwal has advanced training in ERPs and endoscopic ultrasound and is developing a clinical practice and research database of using these tests in early identification of pancreatobiliary cancers and staging them. He is also setting up a research based screening colonoscopy program.
