Dr. Prather joined the faculty of Saint Louis University School of Medicine in July 1998. She continues to lead Saint Louis University program in gastrointestinal motility disorders and functional bowel diseases. She is the Director of the Gastrointestinal Motility Center which provides state-of-the-art physiologic testing.  Her research interests are in functional bowel disease and in disorders of gastrointestinal motility.  She is currently the site principal investigator of a multi-center NIH sponsored study in functional dyspepsia.  Dr. Prather also serves as the GI Fellowship Program Director.
