Erin Bakanas, M.D. is the unit director for the second year medical student death and dying course as well as the chair for the SLUH Ethics Committee. She attended the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and completed her medical training at Jewish Hospital of Saint Louis. She is currently completing an MA at the Aquinas Institute of Theology.
