Internal Medicine Stars Program
| The Internal Medicine Stars Program is an employee recognition program designed to acknowledge and reward outstanding employees for their contributions to the Department of Internal Medicine. An Internal Medicine Star is a staff employee who has demonstrated an excellent work ethic and performance in their job duties. Selection will be based on the employee’s eligibility and demonstration that the nominee’s performance has met one or more of the following standards:
All Internal Medicine staff employees who have worked in the department for at least six months and have completed their orientation period are eligible for nomination. Nominations will be reviewed and one winner will be selected quarterly by the Internal Medicine Stars Committee. The employee who is selected will be rewarded with an incentive payment in the amount of $100 Billiken Bucks. All Internal Medicine faculty and staff are encouraged to submit nominations for outstanding employees.
