Rotation Fast Facts:

Faculty supervised continuity practice 1/2 day per week (Categorical Track)

No overnight call for supervising floor residents

No overnight call of interns during VA hospital medicine

Call every 5th night at SLUH for interns during hospital medicine

Night float call system in place for more than 10 years

Over 40 different clinical and research electives

Average hours per week based on resident survey < 65

3 weeks of vacation for PGY-1 and PGY-2

4 weeks of vacation for PGY-3

Computers available in every callroom with T1 internet access, UpToDate, >1000 ejournals online, MD Consult, and WebMD access

Resident loung with 47" TV, computer workstations, and lounge furniture
